ABOUT ADRIANNE...

Adrianne Noah, M.A. has worked in the field of education since 1980. She brings to families over 25 years of experience, and specializes in working with children, adolescents and young adults experiencing behavior and/or school problems, and who need social-emotional growth. She also has more than 6 years of experience specifically working with programs for troubled teens. Adrianne is passionate about helping families seek help for their child. While the field of educational consulting is not new to the East and West coasts particularly, the need for this service is becoming more apparent nationwide.

Adrianne's educational background includes a B.S. in Education, with an endorsement in Special Education from Texas Christian University and an M.A. in Special Education, with an emphasis in Behavioral and Emotional Disorders, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Adrianne annually attends the two professional IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association) conferences and the annual NATSAP (National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs) conference. In addition, Adrianne continues to stay current in the field of special needs by attending assorted national and local seminars and workshops.

To date, Adrianne has visited over 100 schools and programs and continues ongoing visits, staying informed about individual program philosophies and the types of children they specialize in helping. Her first-hand knowledge goes beyond the information found in brochures, videos and on the Internet.

Adrianne adheres to a strict code of ethics based on the philosophy of IECA. She agrees with these principals and does not accept any fees from programs. She is hired solely by families and is a parent/child advocate. Basically, Adrianne is a liaison between a family and potential programs. She is dedicated to finding the "right fit" for your child and to ensure his/her happiness and success.
